Interpreting Anne of Green Gables

I've been listening to audio books for the Anne of Green Gables series by L.M. Montgomery and was really inspired by the main character. Here's a painting I did.

Really in the Mood for Drawing Challenges!

Here were a couple from the past week.

The group came up with these 4 random words to throw into a picture:
Broccoli, Wings, Nap, Drunk

My next group thought up these 3 words:
Wings, Banana, Priest

Practice Continues

Here's another Prismacolor one, along with a couple of other sketches. I was drawing out of a magazine and sadly the center model really was as skinny as the drawing.

I've been trying to experiment and work more with my Prisma Color markers. I've had them for years, and it doesn't make sense to have packs and not use them right? :P Here were some studies:

Drawing Challenges

My coworkers and I have been taking the time to do drawing challenge sketches. This exercise involves everyone throwing out a random word and making a drawing combining all the words together.

There were 3 of us, so with the 3 key words, I came up with these doodles. It was really fun seeing what the other guys came up with in the end because we all had such different ideas. :)

Animal Studies

Lately been in the mood to brush up on some animal drawing. Here were some studies from the Vilppu Animal Drawing Manual. :)
